The chair lift attendants at the beginner school were excellent. The gentleman from Birmingham and his female colleague made sure I was safe and went through the process of using the lift really helpfully.

Exceptionally nice stuff most of the time - and almost always one would find someone who speaks English and is ready to help. Some stuff at the lifts don't speak English, and are harder to reach if one needs help/is in distress :( The slopes are wonderful, we were just unlucky not to have enough snow here and there (some resorts add artificial snow to help, but it didn't seem to be the case here). Some chair lifts are a bit rough to get on/off if not used to "speedy" reactions. I found Saint Gervais staff more eager to jump and help small children than here. Other than that - pleasant resort, I'd recommend.
